This limited edition of my first album is a physical, 3D printed copy of its original white cover.

This pack is limited to only 50 copies and includes 2 secret, unreleased songs!

By owning this special edition of the album, you instantly become a "Founder" of the Alpine Universe and your name will be carved onto the Founder's Stone for everyone to visit inside the Temple (link will be revealed on February 6)

At the back of the cover, you will find a unique laser engraved aluminum plaque. The serial number (one out of 50 total) and its own QR code are etched into the metal. Scanning it gives you instant access to exclusive downloads, including unreleased songs and access to the Temple.

With this package you get both PHYSICAL and DIGITAL perks:

Physical:

  • 3D printed mechanical CD case with stand
  • Unique engraved plaque with serial number and QR code
  • Playable CD with all songs from original albums + 2 unreleased secret tracks
  • Ships with stickers, keychains and the "mini-album" fridge magnet

Digital:

  • Become a Founder and get your name carved on the Founder's Stone
  • Alternate cover version
  • Early demos of some tracks

About the manufacturing process:

Just like all of my music, this object is 100% home-made. It's inspired by manufacturing and industrial design of the future, but made by a single craftsman in his workshop.

I use CAD modeling, 3D printing and laser engraving to manufacture each copy individually from my studio.

Each copy is about a day of machining and several hours of assembly and quality control.

My goal was to create a beautiful, collectible piece of art that you could hang or display. But it also needed to be a functional CD case and stay true to the original design (which was only released in digital/streaming formats).

In the days of CDs, I felt connected physically with the music. I was immersed into the artist's world through the cover art and the booklets with printed lyrics (my personal favorite was Offspring's "Americana"). It's a deliberate act to chose an album, put it in a player, and experience it start to finish.

Unlike digital files, CDs are something you can hold, display, and cherish. It's a direct link to the artist, as they are a crafted product of their vision.

I first I converted the digital design in 2007 for the original release to print the top.

I then designed a button mechanism to eject the CD and printed the other parts.

Everything is then bolted together and a custom aluminum plaque is engraved in the back with a secret QR code and serial number.
